5-star hotel near Buckingham Palace with Royal Warrant

Rooms

The Goring offers 67 rooms and suites with luxury decor, each including a seating area and a TV with films on-demand. Many rooms have a private terrace overlooking the hotel's large private garden, one of the largest in central London. Suite guests receive dedicated footmen who provide personalized service throughout the stay.

Dining

The hotel's restaurant serves gourmet cuisine using carefully selected British produce and holds a Michelin star. Afternoon tea is served in the charming lounge setting, with a selection of traditional sandwiches, scones, and pastries. The on-site cocktail bar offers creative, expertly crafter drinks that can be enjoyed on the terrace overlooking the private garden.

Points of Interest

The Goring sits just 0.5 miles from Buckingham Palace, making it a short walk to the Royal residence and St James's Park. Guests are less than 5 minutes' walk from Victoria Station, providing direct links to Gatwick Airport and the underground. Nearby attactions include Hyde Park, the Tate Britain, and the Houses of Parliament, all within 1.2 miles.

Family & Children

The hotel offers family-friendly accommodations with interconnecting rooms and children's amenities such as babysitting services and kids' meals. Spacious suites allow families to stay together comfortably, and the large private garden provides a safe space for children to play. Free WiFi and a fitness center are available for all guests.

Services

The Goring is the only hotel awarded a Royal Warrant by Her Majesty the Queen, a testament to its service excellence and heritage. The concierge team, named among the best in London, assists with tickets, reservations, and private Black Cab tours. Additional services include valet parking, 24-hour front desk, currency exchange, and daily housekeeping with turn-down service that places a cuddly sheep (Barbara) in each room as a take-home memento.
