Location
Piccadilly Hostel is located a few steps from Piccadilly Circus, 100 metres from Piccadilly Theatre, and 200 metres from Prince of Wales Theatre. The property is within 500 metres of Prince Edward Theatre and 700 metres of Trafalgar Square. Leicester Square Underground Station, Arts Theatre, and Carnaby Street are all within walking distance, with London City Airport 14 km away.
Pod Rooms
Each capsule offers a private sleeping space with a dimmable LED light bar, a fan to manage airflow, and three power outlets: USB-A, USB-C, and a UK plug socket with on/off switch. The capsule shutter locks from inside and outside using separate padlocks (guests must bring their own lock). Guests 196 cm tall can sit upright and lie down comfortably, and a fresh towel is provided.
Bathrooms & Cleanliness
The gender-neutral bathroom block has floor-to-ceiling partitions for all toilet and shower cubicles, with push-button showers providing 7-10 seconds of water per press. Cleaning staff service bathrooms regularly throughout the day, with multiple stalls available so guests rarely wait. A 24-hour housekeeping presence ensures the sleeping area floors and bathroom fixtures are kept in a consistently clean state.
Security & Staff
A security guard is stationed at the door each night, and key card access is required to enter both the building and each capsule room. The reception team is available 24/7 and has been noted for friendly, helpful service during check-in and for resolving issues promptly. Cameras are present throughout the building, and the capsule can be locked from the inside while guests sleep.
Value & Practicality
Piccadilly Hostel offers an affordable price in a central London location within walking distance to major theatres, nightlife, and the Piccadilly line tube station connecting directly to Heathrow Airport. The capsule format provides more privacy than a traditional dormitory, with guests reporting good sleep quality due to the quiet environment and dark interior. Note that the building is still under construction on other floors, but the open floor remains quiet and clean, and a working elevator serves the 5th-floor rooms.
